This is one of the best examples of a Nagoya 1oth series Japanese type 99 that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Chambered in 7.7mm Japanese, this rifle has an excellent bore that is one of the best I've seen on a non-chrome lined Japanese rifle. It is bright and shiny with strong rifling. All of the screws on the trigger guard are still staked into place. The mum has been peened, but is still clearly visible. The stock in this rifle has never been refinished and still retains the original hand drawn marks at the wrist. There is one small chip at the recoil lug. All numbers on this rifle are matching to include the bolt, firing pin, and safety.
