This is a very nice and hard to find Model 1917 rifle manufactured at the Eddystone Arsenal in 1918. Chambered in 30-06, this rifle has a good bore with strong rifling and pitting in the grooves. I have personally shot it at 80 yards with good accuracy. All marked parts are marked "E" with this appearing to be a matching and correct rifle. The metal condition is very good overall with some wear on the magazine floorplate. The stock is in very good shape throughout with very nice cartouches. Mechanically this rifle works excellent. There are no import marks on this rifle.
